Ever since she was a young girl, Melissa has always had a passion for visual arts. Art was always her favorite subject and as such, in high school she won multiple visual arts awards because of her creativity and hard work.
Her love for sewing blossomed in high school when she designed a pageant gown for a friend. Soon after, she was soon hooked on the idea of pursuing a career in the fashion industry.
After graduating from Ryerson University’s prestigious fashion design program, she continued to explore her 4th year graduation project by creating evening dresses that can be worn in multiple ways. Melissa’s designs have been seen on celebrities such as Tracy Moore and Joan Kelley Walker.
Aside from her evening wear design work, Melissa decided to immerse herself in the bridal industry as an alterations and fit specialist. She especially prides herself with her ability to problem solve on-the-spot garment fit issues with her clients.
Melissa decided to use her university thesis as an inspiration in bridal garments. Functionality, versatility and elegance are the driving forces behind her bridal design aesthetic.
